Michael was the Production Designer for Sony Pictures Animation's Open Season directed by Roger Allers, Jill Culton and Anthony Stacchi. The directors desired the look of the film to reflect the sensibility of famed Disney designer, Eyvind Earle. This was a perfect match for Michael considering Earle is one of his artistic heroes.  This gallery consists of images from Michael's style guide. Michael was nominated for an Annie Award for his work on Open Season.
